Introduction of Myself

My name is Todd B. Davis II. I've just recently enrolled at College of Southern Nevada (CSN). I plan to get my degree in Computer Information Technology (CIT). I come from a culinary background but looking to explore a different field. I'm a father of two daughters Tori and Ziyah Davis. I have a passion for learning and try to fill most of my time learning something new. There not much I don't know of, even if I don't know it in detail.

  3. I do relate with you as I am a mom of two but I am always wanting to learn and advance myself regardless of the time limitations we have as a parent. It also sets the tone for our children the importance of education and it is never late to do the right thing.
Good luck :) We can do it!!!

    1. I completely agree. Our children are constantly watching us for cues on how to life their own life. I want to raise them with a hunger, thirst, craving for knowledge.

  4. Welcome! Culinary. Much respect to you. We opened a restaurant and it's insane. I see why there are issues between FOH and BOH; there has to be common ground. CIT is such a great field. Did you see the recent CSN email? A CIT scholarship is being offered.

    1. I say that all the time. Cooperation Communication and Collaboration my three C's of the kitchen. I think if the Front of the house and the back of house staff knew each others methods of operation thing would run much smoother. Example: All waiters should know the menu as well as the chefs. This would improve there performance with the customers and rapport with the chefs. All chefs should know the wait staff abbreviations and shorthand if any are used, this would help there efficiency in preparing the orders and build rapport with the wait staff. Overall performance of any restaurant would improve. Also thank for referring the scholarship to my I will apply as soon as possible.

  11. Nice to meet you Todd! I envy to have a passion for learning.. I do enjoy learning about new things, but if it's something that I'm not that interested in then I have a hard time putting my time and effort into it.
